Caring for your succulents

A light mist every 7 - 10 days is all they need. Do not soak.

Place arrangement in bright, indirect sunlight.

When the season is over...

Plant, Replant, Repeat!

Step 1: Remove the succulents

Carefully remove the succulents from the pumpkin and trim off any hot glue.

Step 2: Prepare the succulents for planting

  1. Allow the cut ends to dry out for a day or two. This helps prevent rot.
  2. Plant the succulents in well-draining soil. Water sparingly until roots establish.

Step 3: What about the pumpkin?

Compost it! The pumpkin will naturally break down and enrich your soil.

or...

Plant it! Dig a shallow hole and place the entire pumpkin in the ground or a large pot. As it decomposes, it will nourish the soil, and you may even see pumpkin sprouts next season!

Step 4: Enjoy your new plants!

Watch your succulents thrive year-round and (maybe) enjoy a surprise pumpkin patch.
